Traditional holiday Cuisine uses many of the foods and ingredients that those of us who are eating PlantStrong ™ eliminated from our diet, but fear not.An easy way to make the change this holiday season is to concentrate on their favorite fresh herbs, spices, fruits, vegetables, tubers, whole grains and legumes. find that key flavors your Thanksgiving meal will revolve around – and then do a simple substitutions holiday healthier menu.

For example, I can't eat Thanksgiving dinner without a sweet potato into the mix so instead of using the usual brown sugar and butter or marshmallows for roofing, mine I top with cinnamon and roasted pecans.

Here are some simple substitutions for a Thanksgiving PlantStrong ™:

Serve bread instead of white bread and use breads in your stuffing. sauté with sodium veggie broth instead of butter or container of soy milk or soya oil. Use when a recipe calls for milk and cream. Use white bean puree instead of white flour and corn starch to thicken sauces, soups, sauces and cymbals. Sprinkle with finely ground nuts and seeds, instead of cheese.
