For example, I can't eat Thanksgiving dinner without a sweet potato into the mix so instead of using the usual brown sugar and butter or marshmallows for roofing, mine I top with cinnamon and roasted pecans.
Here are some simple substitutions for a Thanksgiving PlantStrong ™:
Serve bread instead of white bread and use breads in your stuffing. sauté with sodium veggie broth instead of butter or container of soy milk or soya oil. Use when a recipe calls for milk and cream. Use white bean puree instead of white flour and corn starch to thicken sauces, soups, sauces and cymbals.
